Tyler Animal Services, CASA will provide backpacks to adoptive students in East Texas

TYLER, Texas — For the month of July, Tyler Animal Services is partnering with CASA for Kids of East Texas to donate school supplies to foster children.

“We work for permanency and a safe home for the kids, just like Tyler Animal Control, they’re trying to find that for our furry friends,” said Mary Jo Burgess, executive director of CASA for Kids of East Texas. “It’s an interesting partnership knowing that they work for pet homes and we work for children’s homes.”

All dog and cat adoption fees will be waived when a backpack containing at least six supplies listed below is brought to Tyler Animal Shelter located at 4218 Chandler Hwy.
